Library Emaniul Popdimitrov
The library work in the town started from the time of Ottoman rule - to the mosque Fatih Mehmed was built a library.
The community centrе Bratstvo was crеated in 1869, and to it - the first public library. In 1907 the library was accommodated in the new building of the community centre. Over the years, its fund was increasing. In 1981, the library was moved to its present building and was called Emanuil Popdimitrov.
Now the library has a rich fund of books, periodicals, and others, numbering around 235,000 library documents. In its 11 departments are working 16 qualified people with university education.
Over time, it becomes more closely associated with its work as a vital institution established to carry out cultural and educational purposes for the citizens.
